Hey there friends!

I’m back with another video tutorial!

This time, I’ve created a landscape style card once again using products from Stampin’ Up!’s Beautiful Autumn Suite.

I designed this card totally around the gorgeous patterned paper that is part of the Gilded Autumn DSP.

Introducing the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Suite | “Beautiful Day” Card

Fall themed card with leaves and acorns created using products from Stampin' Up!'s Beautiful Autumn Product SuiteFirst off, let’s take a quick look at the “Beautiful Day” card.

As you can see, this is a landscape card – which is fairly rare for me, as I prefer to create my cards in portrait style. But that gorgeous patterned paper I used for the background just seemed to lend itself to a landscape card.

This card has a LOT of layers – mainly consisting of paper strips of different sizes and textures.

In addition to the Beautiful Autumn stamp set and coordinating punches, I also used the Autumn Essentials dies. The die cut border and the two wheat stalks were created using dies from the Autumn Essentials dies.

This card also features colouring with Stampin’ Blends – which are Stampin’ Up!’s alcohol markers.

Below you’ll find a video tutorial, a written step-by-step tutorials, dimensions and full supply list.

All products are Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted.

Step by Step Written Tutorial | Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Day Card

Here’s how I made this card:

Step 1. Center and stick the 3 ⅞” x 5 ⅛” piece of Gilded Autumn patterned paper (with the wheat stalks and leaves) onto a 4″ x 5 ¼” piece of Early Espresso CS using double-sided adhesive.

Step 2. Emboss the 2″ x 4 ½” piece of Very Vanilla CS using the Subtle 3D embossing folder and your die cutting machine. Place the border die along the bottom edge of the embossed CS piece and die cut. Trim the Very Vanilla CS piece so that it is 1 ½” x 4 ⅛”, using a paper trimmer.

Step 3. Center and stick the striped ¾” x 4″ piece of patterned paper to the back of the ¾” x 4 ½” strip of Cajun Craze CS, so that the striped patterned paper extends about ⅛” beyond the edge of the Cajun Craze CS piece.

Step 4. Stick the embossed and die cut Very Vanilla CS piece over top of the Cajun Craze CS strip so that the left edges align, and the bottom die cut border on the Very Vanilla piece is about ⅛” up from the bottom edge of the Cajun Craze CS piece. Stick this piece to the matted patterned paper piece so that the bottom edge of the Cajun Craze CS piece is about ¾” up from the bottom edge of the matted piece.

Step 5. Stick the ½” x 3 ½” strip of the copped brushed metallic CS to the Very Vanilla CS piece so that it is about ⅛” up from the top edge of the die cut border, and ⅛” in from the right edge of the Very Vanilla CS piece.

Step 6. Stick the ¼” x 3 ¼” strip of Mint Macaron CS to the Very Vanilla CS piece so that bottom edge of the Mint Macaron CS strip is butted up against the top edge of the copper brushed metallic CS strip and the left edge is about ⅛” in from the right edge of the copper brushed metallic CS strip.

Step 7. Stamp the greeting in the bottom right corner of a rectangular piece of Very Vanilla CS. Trim into a greeting strip. Place mini Stampin’ Dimensionals along the back.

Step 8. Remove the backing from all the Stampin’ Dimensionals, except the one that is behind the word “have” at the beginning of the greeting. Stick the greeting directly overtop of the area where the Mint Macaron CS strip and Copper Brushed Metallic CS strip meet. The right edge of the greeting should be about ¼”  in from the left edge of the copper CS strip.

Step 9. Stamp two of the acorns and two of the three-leafed images onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS using Early Espresso Classic ink.

Step 10. Color the bottom of the acorn with Light and Dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. Color the top of the acorn with Light and Dark Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ blends. Punch the acorns out with the coordinating punch from the Autumn Punch Pack.

Step 11. Color the three-leafed images with Light and Dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut the leaves.

Step 12. Die cut two wheat stalks out of copper brushed metallic CS using the wheat stalk dies from the Autumn Essentials dies (the one that bends to the right and the one that bends to the left).

Step 13. Stick the two wheat stalks to the left of the stamped greeting. Tucking the wheat stalk that bends to the right underneath the greeting.

Step 14. Trim the ends form the three-leafed images and stick them to your CS panel. One should be tucked behind the greeting with the leaves at the top. Once should be stuck to the left of the greeting, with the leaves pointing towards the left.

Step 15. Place a mini Stampin’ Dimensional at the back of one acorn. Stick it to the CS panel, so that it slightly overlaps the left edge of the greeting strip.

Step 16. Using a large Stampin’ Dimensionals, stick the second acorn to the CS panel, so that it is below and to the right of the first acorn, and the left edge is tucked slightly beneath the first acorn.

Step 17. Center and stick the CS panel to the Cajun Craze notecard using double-sided adhesive.

Step 18. Embellish with a few champagne rhinestone basic jewels. You’re done!
